Gladys Marie Woodard

Gladys Marie Woodard, 93, was called to be with the Lord on March 8, 2016 in Spring Hill, FL. Born in Dawson, GA on June 17, 1922 to Willie Brown and Luvenure Edwards, she lived in New York until 1988 when she relocated to Spring Hill, FL. She was a faithful member of the Spring Hill SDA Church.

She was predeceased by husband, Johnnie and son Dwight Woodard. She is survived by sons Gregory, Thomas, Desmond and Steven, daughters Betty Woodard-Harper and Lucia Woodard-Burrell, son-in-laws Ian Harper and Alfred Burrell, daughter-in-law Deborah Woodard, grandchildren Javon, Janea, Jessica, Jacqueline, Joshua, Justin Miles, Justin, Janel, Jarrett and Jacinth, grandson-in-law Nathaniel Brown, granddaughter-in-law Joanna Harper, great-grandchildren Dereanna, Jade, Jordan, Joshua and Ain. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, church family and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Turner Funeral Home Spring Hill Chapel, 14360 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, FL on Sunday, March13, 2016 from 6-8pm. Funeral services will be held at the Spring Hill Seventh Day Adventist Church, 2300 Osowaw Blvd, Spring Hill, FL 34607 on Monday, March 14, 2016 at 10am. Interment will be at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
