Donald Staples of Spring Hill Florida passed on August 15, 2020. He was born in Pennsylvania but lived in New York for many years with his Family. His family included his Wife, Mabel Staples, and their 5 children: (pre-deceased) Donna Staples, Donald Staples, Lori Staples, Danita Staples, and Lisa Staples-Ramcharan along with 8 Grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Before retiring to Florida, he worked in the Stores Department of Sea View Hospital & Home in Staten Island, NY for 33 years. If patients needed special equipment, he could always be depended on to obtain that equipment the same day, no matter how far out of his way he had to go. He made himself available even after work hours to supply the Nursing Department with medical supplies and whatever someone needed from stores. Even when off duty, he responded willingly without hesitation, regardless of what time or day or night. He enjoyed traveling and taking trips with his family before and after retiring and taking photos. After retiring, he looked forward to family visiting from out of town and spoiling his grandchildren with outings to theme parks and other places.
