The world is left a bleaker and colder place without Betty.  Her profound kindness and sweetness, her consideration and goodness,  her charm and wit and smile will all be deeply, sorely and constantly missed.  I have been blessed to have Betty and her wonderful husband Bill as my neighbors for nearly a decade, and their myriad kindnesses and assistance have been a boon and a comfort.  Betty was justly beloved of everyone who was fortunate enough to know her: her generosity of soul and spirit, her faith and strength and virtue, and her gentle heart, were a shining example to me, and, I am certain, to all.  She was a truly Great Lady, and, I firmly believe, a proof of God's love and kindness.  Just knowing she was next-door was healing, and I miss her so very much already.  Bill and all of Betty's family are in my thoughts and prayers, and may God strengthen and comfort them in their great bereavement.  

My husband Ron and I know her as sweet Betty.  Her and Bill are/were our best friends.  She stood beside me when I married the love of my life and the love her life, Bill stood by Ron.  We were married the day before her birthday and every year celebrated our anniversary, her birthday and Christmas/their anniversary going out for an extra special dinner, all dressed up for the holidays. The last time we went out was to a Newsboys concert in March of this year.  We had an awesome time as always.   We loved our times together, she could always make us laugh with a funny word.  She was the best friend I could ever have.  We love her always and will see her again.  We will miss you bunches, our sweet Betty😚💙.
