Hello Mom,
It's your youngest, Shelly, with an e. I miss you so much. I know you are watching over all of us.I search for words, but there is so much I want to say. Long ago I wrote you a poem for Mothers Day. You decided to get it published. Here, this is for you:

WORDS OF LOVE

A girl and a boy,
once in their life,
they become husband,
and become wife.

they share a love,
deep in their heart,
blessed from above,
they begin a new start.

They work threw the hard,
both hand in hand,
to get where their going,
they've made a stand.

Mom is a word of love,
it's a word of joy,
a new born girl,
or a new born boy.

Dad is a word of love,
and also of pride,
looking at his babe,
with a gleam in his eye.

Their children grow up,
they've been through a lot,
it's their turn now,
to give it a shot.

Their children may falter,
from time to time,
wondering how to get up,
from the grit and the grime.

They look to their parents,
they know mom and dad,
will be there through,
the good and the bad.

I'd like to make it clear,
on one thing or two,
Mom, Dad,
we'll always love you!!

Hello Mom,
It's your youngest,Shelly, without the e. I want you to know that I really miss you, and I know you are watching us to make sure we are alright. Long ago I wrote you a poem for mothers day, because I didn't have anything else to give you, and you sent it in to be published. It is hard to find words so here it is:

Words of Love

A girl and a boy
Once in their life,
they become husband
and become wife.

They share a love,
deep in their heart,

they begin a new start.

Dear Mom,
There are so many words we said, and so many more that we wanted to say. To reflect on your short time with us, it makes me aware of how strong you are. You should be proud of what your life was. It was all about your family. You married Dad and had three children. You put your family as your highest priority. You watched us grow up and have children of our own. This made you a Grandma. What a proud Grandma you are! 
I am glad that you were with us for the time that we did have. I am grateful that we had the opportunity to spend most of your life with us on the weekends. I now understand why you would call me every Wednesday to ask me “Are you coming up?” or every Friday night “Where are you at?” You were excited to have us up there with you and Dad. Now there are no calls. 
It will take time to not look for you, but for some reason I feel that you are not very far. I promised you that we would take care of Dad. We are doing our best. I know that is all you would want. You taught us well. I miss you and I know in my heart that you are with me and you always will be with me.

I called her "Grandma."  

She called me "Peanut" and "Niner-Bean." 
She watched me swim in their huge pool.
She pitched many plastic balls at me while I swung away.
She tolerated many episodes of Cops and Pink Panther.  
She picked raspberries in the back-yard and let me eat them as she picked them.
She put the sticky window decorations up early so I could play with them until the holidays.
She wrapped up my old toys so I could practice opening something before Christmas.
She watched Peter Pan with me about 150 times.
She let me paint the "Mexican" for her numerous times, and sometimes not very prettily. 
She introduced me to Lou Bega's Mambo No. 5, to which we jammed one complete summer.  
She danced with me to Britney Spears and Spice Girls.
She permed my hair numerous times and we both laughed at that horrible chemical smell.
She helped me dye my hair for the first time.
She took me to see Titanic with my cousin Sam and told him to "hush up" while I balled my eyes out in the backseat of the car.  
She took me to the Red Ox Café where all of her co-workers would say, "You both have the same nose!" 
She took me to the dollar store in Soderville every weekend and bought me so many nick-nacks.
She pulled numerous "stickers" off of my feet when I ran through the fields without shoes against her advice.
She let me go visit Sara and Becky all of the time.
She had Neighbor Sandy over with her girls to dance the night away on a floor full of oatmeal.
She let me sleep in her bed at night when I thought T-Rex was going to get me and eat me.
She laid in the bed next to me when I was trying to sleep in my own room.
She helped me bury my first pets and plant a tree next to them.
She sat with Grandpa during the summer nights on the chair swing listening to the oldies.
She let me run around in my reception dress for my mom's wedding and didn't tattle on me.
She let me have my first glass of champagne.
She made the best ham sandwiches and strawberry-rhubarb crisp.
She bought the best string cheese.
She cried at the kitchen table all night when her mom died.
She took me to pierce my ears.
She went out and bought the new Bon Jovi CD when I was really sick just to see me smile.
She watched me graduate from high school, then college.
She was so proud of her and Grandpa's new house and land.
She looked forward to catching photos of bears in their yard.
She watched the birds feed every morning.
She loved standing around the camp fire.
She loved playing pool.
She always won at cribbage.
She always had food ready when I came over.
She did my laundry when I stayed. 
She moved to another room and let me have hers when I came over.
She listened to me cry when Grandma Kelleher died and reassured my fears when I asked her what would happen when she died.
She always curled the fingers of her right hand when she came to hug me.
She danced the night away at the Chicog Firebarn dances.
She cried when her father died.
She was proud of me going to school and put it in the local paper.
She canoed on the Namekagon River and fished on Matthews Lake.
She loved going to the St. Patrick's Day parade in Webb Lake.
She loved going up the North Shore.
She cried when she found out she had cancer and decided to play pool that same night with a smile.
She became a cancer survivor.
She loved Bentleyville in Duluth and told everyone to go.
She watched me get married and insisted on standing for me.
She showed me all of her family photos from when she was growing up.
She tasted my first attempt at lemon meringue pie and said it was perfect, even though it was watery and slightly burnt and she could barely lift the fork.
She ran her fingers through my hair when I rested my head on her hospital bed.
She said, "Don't cry, honey," and I cried anyway.
She loved me, I love her.
She is missed. 

I will miss her until my heart stops.

I will always remember dancing with you in the kitchen with flour and oatmeal on the floor! I also loved the bonfires and listening to the oldies! Donna, you will be missed!

Aunt Donna will be missed. Remembering her infectious laugh makes me smile. May you find peace in the presence of family and friends. Long distance hugs to you all.

Clem, & Family, so sorry for your loss, and regrets not keeping in touch. The girls  & I are feeling  sadness for all of the family. Donna and I  shared a lot of fun times, always remember them God Bless .Deb, Lisa & Tricia .

My prayers go out to Sunny, Tim, Shelly, Sharon and the rest of the family during this difficult time. I have fond memories of Donna and was deeply saddened to hear of her passing. My thoughts are with you all.

Sonny, Sorry I can't be there for you and the kids. I am thinking of you and I know that you will be ok. Donna was a very special person and I will miss her and the time we spent together. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers
