Tyler Dwayne Philp, age 27, left us too soon, on August 10, 2023. He was son to Jackie Wilson and Dan Philp, but lived most of his life with Dad Jerame Williams. He attended North Spokane schools, gaining many friends through the years. That is where Tyler found his love for all sports but football was the one. He graduated from Port Angeles Highs School, then moved back to Spokane and started his construction career. The job he took the most pride in was drywalling the Grand Hotel.
He relocated back to Port Angeles and started a long relationship with Makayla Wickersham, who gave him his brightest lights, Miles and Brody. Tyler loved being a dad and he carried his love of football to his children. Miles is now a quarterback and Brody will soon follow. He worked for construction crews building many houses in the Port Angeles and Sequim areas.
Tyler came back to Spokane in the fall of 2022 and met the love of his life, Sherri Davis, and her kids. He even passed on his football skills to her son Bryson.
Ty loved life and the outdoors. He had been fishing since he could hold a pole, also passing that on to his sons. He was kind, with an ability to laugh and find the good in any situation. He loved dancing, music, and especially singing. Tyler was an amazing father, son, and friend to all.
Tyler, you affected so many lives and will be missed by all. He is preceded in death by Grandpa John, and Grandpa Dan. He is survived by sons Miles and Brody, mother Jackie, stepmother Jenelle, fathers Jerame and Dan, nana Kathy, and grandmother Yvonne, grandparents Teresa Ballou and Roy Ballou, sister Mariah, brother Zade, and many more extended family members and friends..
