Trevor Andrew Stephenson passed away August 12, 2010. He was born on June 24, 1981 in Spokane. At the young age of 14, he earned the prestigious Eagle Scout award. Trevor graduated from Central Valley High School in 1999. A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, he served in the Philippines, Bacolod Mission. Trevor was an entrepreneur in the roofing industry, employing hundreds of people. Trevor showed compassion to all, serving those who were down and out everywhere he went. He was full of optimism and a love of life. Trevor worked hard and played hard. He was actively involved as a father, husband, son and brother as well as a loyal friend. Trevor is survived by his wife, Holly Sue McCombs Stephenson; four sons, Garrett Andrew (6), Porter Thomas (5), Mason Campbell (3), Brody James (2); parents, Jim and Carol Stephenson of Spokane Valley; sister, Amanda (Bob) Sainsbury of Starkville, MS; brother, Matt (Megan) Stephenson of Coeur d’Alene, ID; sister, Emily (Matt) Smith of Surprise, AZ; grandparents, Thomas and Therese Warne of South Jordan, UT; and twenty one nieces and nephews. All are welcome to join us Friday at 7:00PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Evergreen Building, 14111 E. 16th Ave, Veradale, WA, for a Remembrance Gathering. A funeral service for Trevor will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 10:00AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel at 13608 E. 40th Avenue in Spokane Valley. Following the service, interment will be at the Saltese Cemetery in Greenacres, WA. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Trevor Stephenson Memorial Fund at any Numerica Credit Union or the Trevor Stephenson Mission Fund at any Wells Fargo Bank, to be used for the missions of his four sons.
