Hi dad, 
Gosh it’s been forever but tonight is one of those nights where I find myself just sitting and reminiscing of the days when you were still here; looking at pictures of all of us together and remember the fun times we had. 
I miss you so much and wanted to let you know that I think of you often! Love you! 

Dad, it's been 5 years now. 5years..5 years of your smile and laughing disappearing in my mind. Still to this day, it just completely blows my mind that you aren't here anymore. I miss you so much and I can't wait to see you again. "If roses grow in heaven lord please pick a bunch for me. Place them in my fathers arm and tell him they're from me. Tell him I love him and miss him, and when he turns to smile, place a kiss upon his cheek and hold him for awhile. Because remembering him is easy, I do it everyday. But there is an ache within my heart that will never go away." I love you so much papa daddy o.

Not a day goes by that I don't think of you brother. I miss you so much. Just wish we had one more day together. Love you Steve

Still miss you so much dad!! Nothing is the same without you around family functions arent quite like they used to be and nothing is quite as bright! My heart hurts everyday! I was going through some of your things today and some of those things brought back so many memories. I cant even begin to express how much i miss you, words cant even explain. Seems like just yesterday you were here with me. Just missing you...ALOT!!!

Steve, Friend.  I've never known a man more of his word than you. It was so sad to hear of your passing. I've been thnking of all those days camping, fishing, hunting and just hanging out. The world was a much brighter place with you in it. You'll never be forgotten, but always often missed. Ride On.

You only need to meet a person once to know what kind of person they are.  We know Steve was a loving family man, welcoming to friends and kind hearted to strangers.  We experienced this on a visit to the Weigel home for a celebration in which my parents were also invited.  Never having met my dad, he so kindly took him on a "tour" of the barn and property.  In doing so, my dad admired his walking stick and told Steve that looked so handy as my dad is also unsteady in his walking due to his medical condition.  After a minimal amount of time passing, Steve Weigel proceeded to carve my dad a beautiful walking stick of his own and gave it to  him for no reason but to help my dad out. My dad was shocked as no one had ever out of pure kindness just given him such a meaningful gift.  He still has that walking stick and we have fond memories of this generous man. I wish Shawn and the girls many blessing in the future and know your dad impacted so many people in such a positive way.  Thank you for sharing him with the us.

Shawn, Tera, Gia & Kairee...I know it has taken a long time for me to write in the guest book, but know that I have made many attempts and just could not find the words. You all are very important to me. When something happens to you all, good or bad, I feel those emotions just as strongly. Steve was not only a great friend, he was family just as each of you are. He impacted my life in many ways. He was very passionate about many things. Especially when it came to his family. He loved each of you so deeply. People say that time heals all wounds. I am not sure that is true. I beleive time just provides us with experience in dealing with those wounds. I will miss Steve until I see him again. I will always be here for all of you. Together, we will keep those memories alive and rejoice that he is at Gods side, and out of pain.

My dad was and always will be the one that taught me how to live, what love is, who God is, and I will miss him for the rest of my life and more. He was a great man, and I just hope that I am as good to my kids as he was to all of us. The most caring person by far that I have ever come to know and I am so greatful to have had him in my life. Daddy, your are my very best friend and i miss you so much. You are on my mind and in my thoughts and prayers day in and day out. I along with mom, tera and kairee will never forget our talks and advice you gave. We made so many memories together that will forever live in my heart. Like road trips across the country, or when I accidentally kneed you in the back of the head almost knocked you out, or when you help me pull a prank on kairee and dye her dog pink. I miss you and love you forever and a day.

As I sit and think about all the talks we had and the advice that was given (whether I agreed or not) I will always remember what you drilled into my head "Grace through Faith". No works or good deeds get you to heaven if you don't truly believe in our good lord Jesus Christ. I feel as if there is a void in my heart that can only be filled when I see you once again.
