Services for Ruth Welsch will be held at Ball & Dodd Funeral Home-North on Wednesday, Nov 22, at 1:30
Burial will follow at Fairmont Memorial Park.
Ruth was born in Nibbe MT on May 22, 1929 and passed away Nov 15, 2017 in Walla Walla WA.
Ruth and her husband Ed moved to Spokane in 1954 and they established Ed’s Body Shop in 1960.
They operated the business together until 1980. She was inducted into The Washington State Horseshoe Pitchers Hall of Fame. Ruth also enjoyed golfing, bowling and she was an avid reader, crafter, gardener and she loved to square dance.
Ruth was preceeded in death by her husband of 53 years, Ed Welsch. Survivors include three daughters, Joyce Keen of Spokane, Edith (Edie) Skeman of Renton and Glenda Ahlers of Walla Walla WA, three brothers, Walt Behmerwohld of Athol ID, Harry Behmerwohld of Heron MT and Manford Tempero of Hotsprings MT, six grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren and numerous loved nieces and nephews.
