Roy "Junior" A. Anyan

Anyan Jr., Roy Alvin “Junior”(Age 80) Passed away on September 10, 2011 in Spokane, WA. Born on February 3, 1931 in Reardan, WA to Roy and Minnie Anyan Sr., the youngest of 17 children. After an outstanding athletic career at Reardan High School Roy enlisted in the US Army. He married Joy in 1953 and together raised two children. Roy worked at Carnation Dairy and retired after 35 years. After retirement he enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports, always their number one fan. He is survived by his daughter, Debbie (Dan) Robbins; 6 grandchildren, Brad (Megan) Groh, Shannon (Chris) Gregg, Tricia Anyan, Cassidy Anyan, Kim (Shawn) Correia, and Kelly Robbins; 5 great grandchildren, Cooper, Callie, Gracee, Lane, and Allysia as well as two brothers Glen and Merle. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joy Anyan, and son, Steve Anyan. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 16, 2011, 10:00 A.M. at Ball & Dodd Funeral Home. Interment at Fairmount Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to Hospice of Spokane.
