Rebecca Lynn Harvey

December 25, 1989 – October 22, 2013

Angels came from Heaven to take our sweet Rebecca to be with Jesus Tuesday morning, October 22, 2013. She was just beginning the next phase of her life as an independent young woman with such a bright future, working as a Management Fellow at Columbia Basin Healthcare Association in Othello, WA. Becca was always a very determined person, passionate about everything she did, always giving 110%. She loved being around people and was a very natural public speaker. She loved music, and took pride in marching with the Central Valley High School Marching Band and with the Spokane Thunder Drum & Bugle Corps. Throughout her five years at Washington State University she held many extracurricular jobs, including Resident Assistant at two dorms, Finance Director for the Residents Association, Facility Manager and Supervisor at the CUB. She had a very strong work ethic and always strived for excellence.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her grandparents Ed and Lillian Wesner, and Jim Harvey. She is survived by her parents Rich and Carol Harvey, her sister Shaunna (Bill) Baldyga, nephew Taub Baldyga, grandmother Doris Harvey, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She dearly loved her family, and there will forever be a hole in our hearts where she had been. We will always miss you, sweet Rebecca, and look forward to the day when we will all be together again. May the light and joy given to us on Christmas Day 1989 shine on us, as a twinkling star forever, as you look down from above.

A Memorial service will be held at Millwood Presbyterian Church on Saturday, November 2, at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity in Rebecca’s name.
