79 Years of Life
Mel Inch, life long resident of Nine Mile Falls, Wa., joined his Lord and Savior on March 6, 2017. Born May 18, 1937, he attended school at Nine Mile Falls, graduating from North Central High School with the Class of 1955. He married Judi VanAllen and served in the U.S. Army as a Brakeman and Engineer. Mel married the love of his life, Dianna May Albert, in 1972. Working as an Engineer and Brakeman for U.P./Burlington Northern for 43 years, he was also WA State Master Hunter, NRA/Elk Foundation Member, and attended West Central Life Church. Mel, who loved to hunt and fish, was most happy with the work he had done for our Lord, leading hundreds of people to know Christ.
He is survived by his wife Dianna Inch, children; Rachelle (Robert) Fletcher, Scott Inch, Jansi (Todd) Mulch, Lael Martin, David (Jennifer) Inch, and Tina (Cameron) Gardella; brother John (Linda) Inch; 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandsons. Mel was predeceased by his parents, Melvin John and Lettie Mae (Pyeatt) Inch, and sister Myrtle Hillyard.
Services in Mel’s honor will be held Monday, March 13, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., Ball and Dodd Funeral Home, 5100 W Wellesley Ave, Spokane, WA 99205. With burial following at Fairmount Memorial Park at 2:30 P.M.
