Mary Ellen Harvey was born in Yakima, WA on April 7, 1935 to John and Mary Harvey. She passed away on May 2, 2023, in Spokane, WA at the age of 88. She was predeceased by her parents, and siblings, Dick Harvey, Jack Harvey, and Sara Jane Harvey.
Mary Ellen graduated from Washington State University in 1958. After graduation she went to Post Falls Convention where she made her choice to serve God. Mary Ellen spent several years in the ministry and later worked as a social worker for the State of Washington.
She enjoyed spending time with her little sister, Sara Jane, her friends, and being in fellowship meetings. She often expressed her love for Truth and would say “reading the words of Jesus was like drinking a tall glass of cold water.”
The last days of Mary Ellen’s life were spent at Touchmark Skilled Nursing where she received wonderful care and attention from Hospice and staff. Many people there expressed how full their hearts felt taking care of Mary Ellen.
Serving as pallbearers are Thad Jablonski, Jaben Ross, Walker Ross, Cole Ross, Kit Massengale, James Krejci, Tom DeVleming and Gary Jablonski.
