Les started his early years in South Dakota during Dust Bowl era. He married Marie with whom he enjoyed 66 yrs of marriage before her death. He settled into his job as a Federal Egg and Poultry inspector in Mitchell S.D. During that time he was called into military service in the South Pacific during WWII. In 1964 he moved his family to Spokane where he remained the rest of his life.
During his 100 yrs of life he lived with the philosophy of spreading joy and happiness wherever he went.
A memorial service will be held in the spring at a date to be announced.
