Leo Ernest Murphy, Sr. (Age 77) Passed away March 5, 2012, surrounded by family and love at Hospice House of Spokane after a long and courageous battle with cancer. A lifelong resident of Spokane, Leo was born December 6, 1934, to Leo and Ida Murphy. He served in the Navy during the Korean conflict and was a retired brick mason for Kaiser Mead. Leo is survived by special friend Margie Reid; sister, Tut (Gary), Woodland Hills, CA; brother, Tom (Marge), Hayden Lake, ID; children, Stan (Julie), Kent, WA, Lorna, Sandpoint, ID, Leo (Linda), West Richland, WA and Edward (Debbie), Spokane, WA; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, special nephews, Pat (Patty), Tom (Sharon) and ex-wife, Helen Murphy, all of Spokane, WA.
