Kenny and his family moved to the U.S.A in 1975 after proudly serving for the Defense Attaché Office, a joint-service command and military attaché branch of the U.S. Department of Defense.
His family have been residents of Spokane, Washington since 1976. Kenny was delighted when he achieved his U.S. citizenship. After working for 18 years he retired from Napa Auto Parts, a company he admired.
Kenny is preceded in death by his wife of fifty-three years, Lang Hong.
He is survived by his four sons and their spouses, Kiet Hong (Polly), James Hong (Lynne), Jimmy Hong (Phoi) and Yome Hong (Melissa); and three grandchildren, Griffin Hong, Isaiah Hong and Sophia Hong; two sisters and many nieces and nephews.
Kenny enjoyed spending time with family, photography, music and his trips to Asia and Australia. He will be missed dearly by all.
