Koehn, Kenneth A. (Age 79) Passed away December 19, 2010 in Spokane, WA. Born February 25, 1931 in Salina, KS to Sam and Lizzie Koehn, the youngest of five children. Ken is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Donna; daughter and husband, Dawn and Dennis Wright, son, Dale Koehn, both of Spokane; three loving grandchildren, Amber Jones of Spokane, Daniel Jones and wife Heather of Salem, OR, and Dalton Koehn of Lewiston, ID; sister, Ruby Toews and brother Frank Koehn, both of Modesto, CA, as well as many loving friends. He is preceded in death by sister, Ila and brother, Edwin. Ken served in the Korean Campaign for 3 years. He lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for 35 years and worked at California Water Service as a supervisor, retiring in 1991. Following retirement, he moved with his wife to Spokane, where he spent his remaining years. Ken provided over 20 years of dedicated service to the Nazarene churches in both Palo Alto, CA and Spokane. Ken will be long remembered for the godly life he lived, his deep commitment to Christ, his care and compassion for others, his contagious smile, and his deep love for his wife and family. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, December 27th at the First Church of the Nazarene, 9004 North Country Homes Blvd., Spokane, WA. Viewing will be held Sunday, December 26th from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at Ball & Dodd Funeral Home.
