Karen Ann McElliott

She was born on 8/24/1954 in Williamson, WV. Karen worked for Deaconess Hospital as a Nursing Assistant for many years.

In 1996 Karen married David McElliott and the couple had a blended family of 6 children. She was a devoted Christian and was truly in love with her faith.

Karen enjoyed taking trips to the casino, traveling when she could, often to the ocean as it was her happy place, and most importantly, spending time with her family. Her three older grandchildren who are all adults now, got to spend irreplaceable time with Karen when she came to live with her daughter. Then when her two youngest grandchildren were born they brought so much new excitement and joy into her life they were all she talked about! Seeing them and being with them was the highlight of her days! We have all been so blessed to have her in our lives, God blessed us with her! Her family will always remember her as a loving Christian and grandmother.

Karen is survived by her children Kim Allen (Alvynn) and Kyle McElliott (Shara) and 5 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Husband Dave McElliott, Mother Roberta Jacobs, and 2 Brothers, John and Roy Jacobs Jr.

A Celebration of Life/Memorial Service is scheduled for 10am on July 29th at, Ball and Dodd Funeral Home in Spokane, WA. All are welcome to attend and celebrate/honor Karen’s life.
