Jody was a special person from the moment she was born. Born on November 30, 1972 she was not expected to live past birth but she defied the odds and lived through 8 surgeries before she was 2yo. She was the poster child for "March of Dime's" several times in the mid 1970's and was featured on National Television as well as local.
Although she was born with the odds against her she overcame and lived independently in her own apartment in Spokane until she passed.
She graduated highschool in San Diego and soon began work for a law firm until she chose to focus on classes at the local Community College.
She moved with her mother to Spokane in 1992 to be closer to her brother and family.
Jody was a special person and accomplished much in life despite her limitations. Today, even in death she continues to be an incredible human being. Jody has a very rare blood type so with her gracious donation of life saving organs she was able to save two other lives.
She will be truly missed.
