Dorothea “Helen” Mills, age 96, passed away August 24, 2013, in Deer Park, WA. She was born October 21, 1916, in Spokane, WA to William and Marie Barckert. Helen is survived by: son, Bert Mills (Maryly) of Loon Lake, WA; daughter, Sharon Sackett (Fred) of Sunriver, OR; sister, Phyllis Hicks of Spokane Valley, WA; six grandchildren; 18 great- grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded by her husband of seventy-two years, Norman Mills, in 2010. There will be a Memorial Service Saturday, August 31, 2013 11:00am at Ball & Dodd Funeral Home. Family entombment at Fairmount Memorial Park.
