Helen LaVonne Dougherty

Age 89

LaVonne was born on September 15, 1931 to Jasper and Helen Crisp of Yakima Washington, the oldest of five children and passed away on June 18, 2021.

LaVonne leaves behind her children Frank, Sarah (Bill) and Richard. Three grandchildren Corey, Nicole (Jeremy) and Justin, and three great granddaughters, Madilyn, Aubree and Pennelope, two sisters and one brother Stan, Roberta and Jackie (Morris).

LaVonne was preceded in death by four of her children, Timothy, Daniel, Raymond and Paul, her sister Vanetta and her parents. LaVonne loved God and spent much of her life caring for children. She had an amazing way with animals, enjoyed her plants, reading and yard sales. LaVonne liked camping and the outdoors. She wrote short stories and when the kids and their friends were in high school they loved to hear them. Thank you to her sister Roberta who cared for her in her final years and the caregivers at Cheney Care Center. Friends and Family are invited to a memorial service at Ball & Dodd Funeral Home at 5100 W. Wellesley Ave. Spokane at 11:00am Friday June 25, 2021.
