Gary Wynn Fietkau

Gary Wynn Fietkau (66) of Deer Park, WA passed away peacefully on Monday, September 2, 2013 at the VA Medical Center in Spokane. Gary was born May 5, 1947 in Missoula, MT. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Conflict and retired from General Electric. He was a member of the Eagle’s, American Legion and the V.F.W. He loved hunting, fishing, bowling, woodworking, and gardening. He was the consummate teacher and advisor that touched so many people’s lives. Gary is survived by his wife, Patty, of 47 years; sons, Tim Fietkau, Steve (Jo) Fietkau, Ray Fietkau, Gary (Ellen) Fietkau; daughter, Stacey (Ben) Jones; brothers, Daryl, Monte; sisters, Kelly, Sharon, Connie; and many loving grandchildren (20) and great grandchildren (8). Gary was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and friend to all. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the VA Medical Center and their incredible staff for their loving care and support.
