Eva E. O'connor

Passed away on August 16, 2011 at the age of 89 at her home in Spokane, WA. Eva was born in Olds Alberta on February 26, 1922 to John and Emma Gooding. Eva moved to Spokane in 1955. She married Ralph O’Connor on May 29, 1964; she has finally been rejoined with him. Eva worked at Kaiser Aluminum for 22 years. Ralph and Eva then enjoyed travel, especially the Oregon coast. Eva is survived by her sister, Clare Brecto, her niece, Gail Peterson, her nephew, Chuck (Nancy) Wilbert, many grand and great nieces and nephews, and her many dear friends. Eva never met a person she didn’t genuinely love; she was a friend to all. A celebration of Eva’s life will be held this Saturday at 2 pm at the Ambrosia Bistro & Wine Bar, 9211 E. Montgomery Dr., Spokane, Valley. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Cancer Care Northwest, 601 S. Sherman, Spokane, WA 99202; Cancer Patient Care, 1507 E. Sprague, Spokane WA 99202; or a charity of your choice.
