Erma Mae Taylor

(Age 91)

Passed away December 20, 2016 in Colbert, WA. Erma was born to Shanklin & Nannie Engle on April 3, 1925 in Malden, WA. She and her 10 siblings were raised on the family farm near Tekoa, WA. She married Virgil Taylor in 1944. She was a great cook, enjoyed gardening, was a skilled seamstress, and also loved shopping and going to the casino with her sister Janice. She was a loving and caring Mother and Grandmother.

Erma was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 67 years, Virgil; and seven siblings. She is survived by her children, Larry Taylor and Susan (Mike) Kosoff; siblings Bob Engle, Jack Engle, and Janice Goodwin; grandchildren Larry (Nellie) Taylor, Jr., Joel (Staucia) Kosoff and Jeff (Kirsten) Kosoff; six great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at Ball & Dodd Funeral Home, 5100 W. Wellesley, Spokane, WA, on Friday, December 30, 2016, 9:00-10:45 AM with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Fairmount Memorial Park.
