Edward Neal Richardson

Edward N. Richardson (age 84) passed away January 18, 2021 surrounded by his family. Son of Raynard and Ruth Richardson of Goldfield, Iowa. Ed attended a one room country school, and graduated from Goldfield High School. He served two years in the United States Army, based in Germany and France. Ed married Lois Christensen in 1957. They resided in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Ed worked in sales, selling to schools, dealing with real estate in Fort Dodge and Des Moines. He loved his family, friends, flying in their airplane, and having coffee with his buddies. In 2013, Ed and Lois moved to Spokane, WA to be close to their son and family.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Kenny. He is survived by his wife; son Steve (Heidi) Richardson of Spokane, WA; three young grandchildren Caleb, Bailey, and Chloe; brother Deane Richardson, and sister Mary Jo McBee.

We wish to extend our sincere appreciation to Hospice of Spokane and to Family First Senior Care for their gentle and kind care.

Ed will be missed.

A memorial service for Edward will be held Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 10:00 AM at Ball & Dodd Funeral Home, 5100 West Wellesley Ave, Spokane, WA 99205.
