Doug Richardson (age 54) passed away December 31, 2011 in Spokane Valley, WA due to heart failure and cardiopulmonary disease. He was born February 28, 1957 in Atlanta, GA and moved several times with his family until settling in Spokane in 1968. Doug graduated from St. George’s High School in 1975. He enjoyed reading, astronomy, taking walks, autumn, photography and music. He played guitar and loved classic rock. Doug will be remembered as a people person, who was very loving and giving. He is survived by his sister, Chi Chi Rice; brother, Del Richardson; ex-wife, Michele Attwood; two children, Brian and Kira; two grandchildren; as well as aunts, uncles and cousins. He is also survived by his beloved dog, “Critter”. He leaves behind many friends who will remember him fondly. Special thanks to Paula R. and her company, Ideal Daughters, for showing love, compassion and respect with the care you provided the last few months.
