Donna Lee Hoover (Paullin) died on November 18, 2012 after a short battle with cancer. She was born on January 17, 1930 in Belmont, Idaho to Loy and Cecil Paullin. Donna was the third of four children and is survived by her older sister Jeanel Inman. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, George and John Paullin.
She graduated from West Valley High School in 1948 and married Richard Hoover on September 1, 1950 at the Millwood Presbyterian Church.
Donna lived the majority of her life in Spokane, the last 44 years spent at Liberty Lake. Her hobbies included gardening, golf, cooking, reading and bridge. In the early days she spent countless hours in her trusty rowboat “the sieve” fishing for trout on Liberty Lake with her sister Jeanel and others. She was a member of the Liberty Lake Community Church.
Donna is survived by her husband of 62 years, Richard Hoover, daughter Linda Uphus (Mike), son Jeff Hoover (Janice) and daughter Martha Gehrett (Scott).
She is survived by seven grandchildren, five step grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

The service will be held at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 S. Pines Road in the Spokane Valley at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 24, 2012.
