Age 50
Diana L. Sowers passed away peacefully Monday, Oct. 5, 2015 after a brief battle with cancer. Diana was born July 1, 1965 in Valinda, CA. We will miss her cheerful, generous personality. Disneyland was her favorite place and she had a large collection of her cartoon favorites.
Diana worked at SHMC for 20 years in “labor and delivery.” She was a Girl Scout leader for several years. Her daughters played soft ball and she attended their games when possible. She loved being a mother and was proud of her girls. She leaves behind her daughters, Kaylee (Billy) Montgomery and Kristen Sowers. She was preceded in death by her mother, Kathy Runyan; father, Ken Brown; and her grandmother, Helen Booth.
She leaves a large void in many lives but we will always remember her with a smile.
A Memorial Service celebrating Diana’s life is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 16, 2015, 2:00 pm at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 S. Pines Rd., Spokane Valley, WA.
