Dennis Wilbur Bass

Dennis is preceded in death by his father Robert L Bass Sr

Dennis is survived by his wife of 20 years Susan Bass; mother Marcia Goodwin; children Nicholas Suiter (Shelby), Matthew Suiter (Tiffany), and Beauregard Feltman. Dennis also leaves behind his siblings, Becky Lee, Anita Pike, David Bass (Laura), John Bass (Irene), Robert Bass Jr (Sabina), and Terry Severson (Ginger); as well as 8 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Dennis served in the United States Marine Corp from 1985 through 1989.

Dennis has taken many young adults under his wing and loved them fiercely. He was known as Dad and Grandpa in the neighborhood.

Dennis loved to play cribbage and canasta; he played several video games. He also loved to smoke meats especially brisket so he could feed the neighborhood. Pretty much a quiet simple life, that centered around home and family. He was a dedicated employee and never took time off, picking up extra shifts so someone else could have needed time off.

There will be a small viewing for immediate family, with cremation to follow at the Ball and Dodd funeral home.
