David Beardsley Nelson

David B. Nelson, beloved father & grandfather passed away March 16, 2016, he was 80 years old. David was born in Spokane, WA on May 1st, 1935, where he graduated from North Central High School. He then attended Gonzaga University. He worked retail grocery for 35 years. After retiring, his love for gardening took over and he opened his own landscape business. He loved wood working, circle track and drag racing. Dave spent his later years devoting his time to his grand children and great grandchildren, showing them what unconditional love is. Everyday you would see him parked on the river road reading the paper with an extra hot latte or cruising in his corvette. He was preceded in death by his parents Sally and Claude Nelson, his brothers Richard and Eugene. He is survived by his sons Michael and David (Sherry), Grandchildren; Shawn, Michelle, Katie, Brittney, Kelsey and Abbygail. Great grandchildren; Katrina, Tanya, Michael, Roman, Brandon, William, Liliana, Bradley, Nevaeh and Josie. A memorial service will be held on March 23rd, 2016 at 11:00 am at Hazen and Jaeger, 1306 N. Monroe St. Spokane, WA 99201
