David S. Cook- was born in 1931 in Wallace, Idaho to Bud and Helen Cook, both deceased. From 1956 - 2007 he was married to Noreen Niles from Spokane, WA until her death. As a young man he was employed in the mines until he joined the United States Air Force serving both in the Korean and Vietnam wars, before he retired after 22 years of service. He also retired as an auto mechanic from Spaulding Auto Parts. As his pastime he enjoyed camping, fishing and yard sales. He is survived by his six children: Ricky (Linda), Thomas (Linda), David Paul Cook and Cheryl Hilt (Denny) all of Spokane, Washington, Deborah Barton (Richard), Pocatello, Idaho, Gary Hollander (Cook), Butte, Montana; one deceased son, Dean S. Cook (Mary); one brother, Thomas Hoquiam, Washington, who is also deceased. There are 18 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; two sisters-in-law, Pearl Hansen of Spokane and Brenda Willenberg of Bremerton, Washington. He will be remembered by numerous friends. Visitation will be held Sunday, December 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Thornhill Valley Chapel with services Monday, December 27, 11:00 at Thornhill Valley Chapel. Burial will follow at Pines Cemetery will full Military Honors.
