Craig E.Kalles, born September 5, 1949, in Spokane, WA. to Jerri and Larry Kalles, Sr. passed away November 9, 2013 in Spokane. Right after graduating from Shadle Park High School in Spokane, Craig was involved in a car accident that left him paralyzed as a paraplegic. However, Craig was determined to go on in life and became an active brother in the church life in Seattle. While there, he fell in love with and married Sue Hollcraft, his wife of 37 years. Craig worked as a communications 911 Dispatcher for the Spokane Police Department. He also worked in communications for the University of WA and for Boeing.
Craig was loved by all around him, and is known as
~ a Warrior,
~ a Sufferer,
~ an Heir of Christ,
~ an Enjoyer and Lover of Christ,
~ a Lover of Men,
~ a Protector.
Besides all these, Craig was a vitally and spiritually organic Husband,
Brother, Uncle, Son, Son in-Law, Uncle in-Law, Brother in-Law, "Teacher",
Shepherd, Friend, Builder and Member of the Body of Christ, and
a Very Special Patient.
Craig went on to Glory before his loving wife Susan (Sue); his faithful sister Karen Simon, her husband Chris and their children Megan, Timothy, and Amy; and his caring brother Larry, his wife Kathy, and their son Jeffery.
In addition to his immediate family, Craig has numerous wonderful nieces and nephews and friends. Craig was loved by all and will be missed every day.
The last 5 ½ years of his life Craig was bedridden, and our home was blessed by heavenly traffic from so many who enjoyed being with Craig. Thank you to all who so richly cared for him.
