Cheryl R. Makinster

(Age 68)

A long-time resident of Tulsa, OK, passed away at 3:30 AM on June 26, 2013, in Spokane, WA.

Cheryl is survived by her mother, Iris G. Roberts, Las Vegas, NV; her brother, Tracy Roberts, Joplin, MO; her son, Gregory W. Makinster, Greenacres, WA; her grandsons, Jeremy W. of Great Falls, MT and Jacob W. of Kalispell, MT.

Mom struggled with strokes and dementia since 2006. She is a beloved mother that is missed dearly! Cheryl retired from SWBT/AT&T as a business rep. She was an AFLCIO Union steward of 30 years. She joined the South Tulsa Baptist Church soon after her stroke in 2006, and was baptized soon thereafter. She enjoyed the people of the church. She enjoyed to laugh and to say things that would make others laugh, too. Of all of mom’s friends, her best friend shared, “Cheryl was a wonderful person and a special lady. I will always remember her willingness to help me, and the many things she taught me. But most of all, I will cherish the friend she was to me.”
