Charles R. Moore

He was born in Thurston NE. on Dec 9, 1921. He married Meridene Hazen Oct 3 1941.

They had just celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary. He was a long time resident

of Nampa, ID and also lived in Pocatello, ID and Tacoma, WA. He went to Nampa High

School were he was an all american in football. He was a Veteran serving in WW2.

He worked for the UP Railroad for 43 years as a yardmaster, switchman and brakeman .

He was a loving and devoted husband and was always interested in his children's growth

and activities. He continued this loving and caring interest in the lives of his grandchildren.

He will be missed very much by all of his family.

Surviving are his wife Meridene of Chattaroy, Wash. ; 3 daughters Charlene (Mark) Housman,

Tacoma WA, Cheryl (Rick) Bell Deer Park, WA ,Sandra Moore Tempe, AZ;

3 sons Larry (Elaina) Moore Meridian,ID, Jim (Deanna) Moore, Chattaroy, WA,

Kevin (Barbara) Moore Pocatello, Id. He has 15 Grandchildren and 31 Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ethel and Charles A Moore. 5 Brothers and 2 grandsons.

A Funeral Service will be held at Ball and Dodd Funeral Home, 5100 W Wellesley Ave,

Spokane, WA 99205, Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at 10:00am.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, Oct0ber 19, 2010

or one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be in the Veterans Cemetery at Medical Lake, WA October 20, 2010 at 1:30 PM
