Carol Ann Reardon

Reardon, Carol Ann (Age 67) – Carol Ann was born July 24, 1946 to Agnes and Harold Cunningham in Spokane, WA. After a courageous battle against cancer she went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 13, 2013. She attended Opportunity Grade School, Bowdish Junior High and was in the first graduating class of University High School. She continued her education at Spokane Community College and obtained her Associates of Arts Degree. In 1974 she became a radiology technician with Deaconess Hospital and was employed there for the next 30+ years. Counted in her many passions were family, friends, travel, British mysteries, movies, reading, gardening and her cat, Sophie. Through her travel adventures she visited Canada, Ireland, England, France, Spain, Italy and Greece. Paris, France was her favorite city. She surrounded herself with a wonderful group of friends from her childhood and from Deaconess. When you became a friend of Carol you were a friend for life. She always had a kind word and warm embrace for anyone in her life. She was so positive and uplifting and saw joy and goodness in everyone. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold; mother, Agnes and brother, Mark Cunningham. She is survived by her daughter, Erin Reardon, of Colorado Springs, CO and her sister, Kay (Dave) West, of Spokane Valley, WA. Carol’s family would like to thank the amazing staff and volunteers of Hospice of Spokane and Hospice House for their loving care. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Valley Fourth Memorial Church, 2303 S. Bowdish Rd., Spokane Valley, WA, with Pastor Gary Weber officiating.
