Wilmar Wilfred Fischer

Wilmar Wilfred Fischer (85) went to the Good Lord on January 3rd, 2023. He joins late wife, Martha (Seeberger) (2010). Preceded by daughter Cora Kokot (1984), parents Gottlieb, Dora (Brinkman) and 5 siblings. He is survived by sons David (Marla) Kokot and Alan (Wanda) Kokot, 8 grandchildren, 8 great, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Born on September 7th, 1937 in Hebron North Dakota, he grew up working on the family farm. He married and settled with his young family in Spokane in 1967, building a small farm in Greenacres. He worked hard throughout his life, retiring as foreman from LAC. His efforts can be seen all around the Northwest, his tireless work ethic an inspiration.

Wilmar enjoyed riding and driving horses, volunteering buggy rides at local celebrations, working in his yard, and spending time with his grandchildren. His many friends and family will miss his cheerfulness, patience, generosity, humor and kind heart.

Services will be held January 11th at Thornhill Valley Chapel 1400 S. Pines Rd. Viewing at 10, Service at 11 and a Graveside service to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
