Lost his long battle with lung cancer, he fought hard but grew weary and couldn’t stay any longer. While Ross lived in Puyallup, WA he raised, trained and showed hackney and shetland ponies. He also was a carpet layer in Union #1238 in Seattle, WA owning his own carpet business “Finn & Larson”. Later he became the Business Manager of the union, retiring after 13 years. He moved to Spokane in 1989 and bought Mountain Man Nut & Fruit in the early 1990s. He loved to hunt, fish and build things. His cabin on the Naches River was also very special, as was his shih tzu, Molly. Ross was preceded in death by his mother, father, two sisters, step-daughter and step-son. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Karlyn Larson; daughters Chris (Mike) Miller and Theresa (Paul) Bowler; eight grandchildren; brother Chester Larson; cousin Chandler (Dona) Larson; three brother-in-laws and three sister-in-laws. A celebration of Ross’ life will be held on Saturday, March 19th at 2:00PM at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 S. Pines Road, Spokane Valley,WA.
