Jennifer Fay

Jennifer Fay passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2010, at Manassas, Virginia. She was the daughter of Chrisann Haase and Richard Stevenson Fay. Jennifer was born on March 29, 1970, at San Francisco, California.

Jennifer worked as a child care specialist for 14 years before training as a Licensed Veterinary Technician. In 2002, after Hurricane Katrina, Jennifer went to Louisiana to help with homeless animals. She served as the Northern Virginia Region Director of the Virginia Association of Licensed Veterinary Technicians (VALVT) from November 2008 to January 2010. In November 2009 she became President Elect of the VALVT.

Jennifer is survived by her parents, her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Haase of Cheney, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, February 20th, 2010 at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 S. Pines Road in Spokane Valley. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Spokane Humane Society, 6607 N. Havana, Spokane, Washington 99217.
