Jasper James Cossette was born May 5, 2017 in Spokane Valley, WA to parents, Rebecca Cossette-Stephens and Harold James Cossette. Jasper was diagnosed early on with autism, but he continued to progress remarkably, overcoming great difficulties. He loved being outdoors in any weather, whether kicking snow at every step, or standing mesmerized as the breezes played through the trees. He was currently attending Sunrise Elementary, learning to read through the tutelage of kind teachers. Jasper was called home suddenly by his Heavenly Father on Sunday April 16, 2023. He is survived by his parents; a brother, L.Cpl. Turner Warren Stephens; a sister, Jennifer Joanne Cossette; grandparents, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He is loved and will be missed by a multitude of people whose lives were made better through contact with Jasper’s sweet spirit. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 29, 2023 in the LDS chapel located at 13608 Belle Terre Rd. 99037. Viewing will be held at 10 AM with services following at 11AM. He will be interred in the Saltese Cemetery. He will be sorely missed by all.
