Helen Mae Johnson passed away peacefully on January 19, 2022. She was a wife, mother, and grandmother to a gaggle of Johnson family members. Helen was a dear friend to all who knew her, and she lived her passion for life by helping others and volunteering. Even at 80 years young she could be found serving meals to local senior citizens in the Spokane Valley.
Helen worked by her husband’s side in a variety of businesses over the years, enjoyed traveling to bowling tournaments and decorated many phenomenal cakes, from elaborate wedding cakes to birthday cakes for her kids. Her incredible intelligence shown in her passion for learning new things including photography and computers.
While no service will be held, we encourage anyone who wants to remember Helen to donate in her honor to The Good Samaritan Foundation supporting Good Samaritan of Spokane Valley, her home for the past seven years.
