On May 3, 2018 our beloved mother, grandmother and friend, Geraldine Kimm age 89, went to be with our Lord while surrounded by family. In her new heavenly home she has joined our father the late Ronald Roy Kimm.
Born on October 16, 1928, she was the only child of Adina (Widman) Voge but joined three step siblings of her father Charles Voge. She was raised on a farm outside the small town of Rosalia Washington. While growing up she helped her mother prepare meals for the family and joined her siblings in the farm chores. She attended school in Rosalia where she met her future husband Ronald Kimm. They were married June 26, 1948 and started their adventures as a married couple in Spokane.
Geraldine was a member of the Liberty Park United Methodist Church for over 60 years. She lived in the same house for 61 years where she has lovingly raised her four children. She took pride in caring for her family and supporting her husband in his profession as a lighting engineer with Columbia Lighting for over 40 years. She was a quiet spirit with a soft smile and a little bit of twinkle. She will forever be in our hearts. Thank you Mom, for a job well done.
Geraldine is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Adina (Widman) Voge. Brothers Clifford and Carson Voge, sister Evelyn Allen and husband Ronald Kimm.
She is survived by her children Colleen (John) Moore, Sultan Wa., Collin Kimm Spokane Valley, Randy (Dianne) Kimm, Spokane Valley and Debbie (Mark) Wisher, of Newman Lake, Wa.
Her legacy continues with 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
