Elsie Florence Dial was welcomed into Heaven on Wednesday November 14, 2018 at the age of 96, just four days shy of her 97th birthday. Elsie was born on November 18, 1921 in Randolph, Utah to Elizabeth Florence Winters and LaVon Spencer. Elsie grew up one of eight siblings and spent most of her youth in Wyoming.
Elsie was married and had three children from her first husband before going on and meeting the love of her life John. Together they had three more children, making it a family of eight. As a family they eventually settled in Greenacres, WA where they spent a lot of time on their farm raising horses, cows, goats, chickens, turkeys, rabbits, and pigs. They also loved gardening and had a large garden on their property. Many family gatherings over the years were spent at this house.
Elsie touched the lives of so many people with her positive love of life and family. She always welcomed new people with open arms.
Elsie was proceeded in death by her husband John, her son Joseph, her three brothers; Lawrence, Leslie, Lester and her sister Marjorie. She is survived by her sisters and brother, Donna, Wilma and Denny (Ruth), her children Jeri, Carol (Tom), Jack, Judy and Sue, along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, who were all the love of her life.
In lieu of flowers, Elsie has requested that donations be made to the Vanessa Behan Crisis Center.
