Dorothy "Dot" Hedman, Spokane, 90 born January 28, 1922 in Buena, WA and died Friday, April 13th. Dot worked various jobs during her life, raised three children and retired from Spokane County Assessor's Office. Dot's parents, siblings and husband Robert Hedman preceded her in death. She is survived by her two daughters, Tina Howard of Eugene, OR, Sandi Hirst of Spokane, one son Rod Hedman of Spokane; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Clare Bridge of Spokane for the care give to Dot in her final years. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 910 W. 5th Ave., Ste. 256, Spokane, WA 99204. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 19, 2012 from 4:00 - 8:00pm at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 S. Pines Rd., Spokane Valley, WA. Service for Dorothy "Dot" Hedman will be at 2pm on Friday, April 20, 2012 at Thornhill Valley Chapel. Burial will follow at Pines Cemetery.
