Dave was called home by his Lord and Savior on May 26, 2023. As heaven is rejoicing, he will be greatly missed by the many family, friends, brothers & sisters in Christ that had known him throughout the years.
Dave was born in Spokane in 1960 and graduated from Central Valley High School in 1978. He was a man of many God given talents. He started his career in the automotive industry working for Midas Muffler for several years, mostly in management, then Triangle Truck Parts. He then was felt led to open his own business, specializing in Home Repair and Landscaping, dba, ICAN Enterprises. Then went on to work in Maintenance for Goodwill Industries, followed by a Maintenance Director position for Manor Care Skilled Nursing. Dave finished his career as Facilities Manager for the Spokane County Library District, just shy of retiring, when he suddenly became ill.
Dave is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Robin Rennick; brother, Dan (Jean) of Liberty Lake; brother Ron (Mary) of Beach Park, IL; stepsister Theresa (Jon) Hawes; stepsister Eloise (Mike) Kennedy; stepbrother Darrell (Colleen) Haase and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin (Eddie) Walter Rennick and Elvira Jean Rennick; stepfather, Willard Haase; sister, Vicky Adkins; and brother, Gary Rennick.
Dave had a love and a passion for many things... the unborn, Robin, his four legged kids, muscle cars, fishing, snowmobiling, camping, building, prepping, guns, gardening, canning. traveling... especially the trip to Israel. Most of all, Dave loved the Lord and serving Him and the body of Christ...he truly was anointed for service, with strength and honor.
Dave loved to help people by sharing his multitude of knowledge, skills, and abilities...if he didn't know how to do something, he would research and find out how to do it. Dave, along with his smile and sense of humor, will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Dave and I want to thank everyone for their continuous outpouring of love, support, and prayers during this very difficult time.
His greatest wish would be for all to accept the Lord as their personal Savior, as time is getting short before the Lord's return, and you must know who you will serve before that day comes.
