David James Bennett

David was survived by his wife; Pamela; his son Clayton; his stepchildren Amanda (Jeff), Jon (Casey), and Mitzi (Kelland); his grandchildren William, Joseph, and Jon; his mother Pauline (Virgil); his two brothers Paul (Brenda), Jeff; his sister Misty (Andy). He is predeceased by his father, Walter Leroy Bennett.

David was born in Goldendale Washington on January 18, 1963 to Pauline Johnson and Walter Leroy Bennett. He graduated from Wallowa High School in 1982. Shortly after high school, he enlisted in the United States Army. After serving in the United States Army, he opened his own landscaping business in in Dublin California. On January 13, 1993 David welcomed his first child, Clayton James Bennett. David married the love of his life and long-time friend Pamela in July of 2012.

David was a devoted father and husband. He enjoyed going on hikes with his dog Mazie, skiing, boating, and four-wheeling. David especially loved his annual fishing trips with his brothers and father. He loved to travel with his wife Pamela. David’s kindness and humbleness never went unnoticed. He will be greatly missed by friends, family, and all who knew him.

A funeral is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Monday November 14th at Hazen & Jaeger Valley Funeral Home on N. Pines Rd. Pastor Dick Curtis will officiate.
