Cheryl was born April 13, 1954, at Deaconess Hospital to Max and Janet Foulon, oldest of her siblings. Cheryl was a 1972 graduate of Central Valley High School. She was a member of the original CVHS color guard flag team and played clarinet in the band. Cheryl traveled to Europe with People to People International Student Travel. She attended WSU (Alpha Chi Omega) and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from EWU. Cheryl worked with developmentally disabled persons at Alpha Industries in Post Falls and Nova Enterprises in Spokane Valley. For the past several years Cheryl worked as Site Manager for Spokane Valley Meals-on-Wheels Senior Nutrition Program at Opportunity Presbyterian Church.
Cheryl had a huge, generous spirit in spite of her health challenges. She was a skilled cartoonist and drew cards and pictures for family and friends. She enjoyed working and loved her work and church families. Cheryl’s greatest joy in life was being Auntie to Shawna Vincent, Ben Foulon, Samantha (Bryan) Glascoe, Alex (Corey) Foulon, Annie Cooper, Jennifer Foulon and Tom Cooper.
Along with her nieces and nephews, Cheryl is survived by siblings Mark Foulon, of Rockville MD, Sally (Patrick) Cooper of Nine Mile Falls, WA, Eileen (Shad) Vincent of Reardan, WA, and Ed (JoLynn) Foulon of Vancouver, WA.
A memorial service will be held Friday, December 28th, 1 pm at Opportunity Presbyterian Church, 202 N. Pines Rd, Spokane Valley.
