AJ (Arnold Michael) Andersen came into this world struggling on June 16, 2002 and left us unexpectedly on a beautiful sunny day, April 10, 2024, into the arms of Jesus. Arnold Michael / AJ you say, how does that work? Well, he was named after his amazing great grandpa Arnold and his father, but it was so hard for us to call that tiny baby Arnold or Arnie and confusing to have 2 Mikes, that we decided Arnold Junior would work, thus AJ.
AJ leaves behind his parents Liss and Vic Christensen & Mike and Star Andersen; sisters – Lyndsey Andersen, McKenzie Ralston, Jamie Christensen, & Jenn (Kris) Bryan; brothers – Hunter Andersen, Matt Christensen, & Ryan (Kody) Christensen; grandparents – Larry and Sue Bertz, Myron and Connie Andersen, & Lyle Christensen; great grandma – GG (Laura Bertz); aunts & uncles – Ami (Cully) Nadwornick, Chana (Kevin) Heape, Jason (Sonya) Andersen, Colleen (Ethan) Kliewer, Corky (Dave) Kiehn, Roger (Neomi) Christensen, & Scot (Michelle) Christensen; nieces & nephews – Issac Finn, Kyle (Genesis) King, Angelina Christensen, Antonio Christensen, Hudson Christensen, Randon Tripp, Emmaleigh Bryan & JJ/Jayshawn Rodriguez; cousins – Abby Nadwornick, Alyssa Andersen, Dana Storseth, Taylor Larson, Emily Andersen, Gabe Andersen.
We would be remiss if we didn’t mention that AJ had so many friends that were as close to him as his family. So many that we couldn’t possibly name everyone, but you know who you are.
AJ was the sweetest little boy anyone would ever want to know. He was smart & funny & loving & tender. These attributes never changed throughout his very short life.
AJ struggled in this life, but we believe he was beginning to find his way. He always had a smile for anyone he came into contact with. He wanted everyone to feel loved & accepted.
AJ, you are a peacock! Now you can fly!
A celebration of life will be held on May 12, 2024 at the Mirabeau Park Hotel on Sullivan from 1-5 pm. In honor of AJ being a peacock/hippy boy, tie dye & bright colors are encouraged.
