William Kevin Lieb

Lafayette, NJ- William Kevin Lieb, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 62. He was born in Teaneck, NJ to William J. and Ethel (Hansen) Lieb, and has resided in Lafayette for the past 28 years, living previously in Dumont. He was a licensed Master Plumber for the past 33 years working for NMP Water Systems LLC, Mahwah, as well as himself. William enjoyed a love of Lionel trains, and enjoyed deep sea fishing. During their formative years, he assisted his sons as scout master for their Boy Scout troops. He was an Eagle Scout. He also coached his children’s various sports at the Lafayette recreation department. William is survived by his loving spouse, Deborah Ann (Valentich) Lieb, two sons; Derrick William Lieb and his wife Meghan of Sparta, and Jason Samuel Lieb and his wife Laura of Columbia, Md. Three grandchildren: Grant, Saige, and Marina Lieb. A brother, Kenneth Lieb, Two sisters; Babette Ammerman and Jeanne Koppel, and his ice cream companion Bailey. Friends and family are invited Tuesday 2~4 7~9 pm to Goble Funeral Home 22 Main Street Sparta, NJ 07871. A 10am funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at Our Lady of the Lake RC Church 294 Newton Sparta Rd Sparta, NJ, followed by private cremation.
