

Virginia Dare Headley Drymon, 91, of Dover, NJ passed away on June 11, 2012. Virginia was born in Franklin, NJ. Named after the first English baby born on American soil, Virginia’s ancestors included some of the earliest settlers of Jefferson Township. She had a deep and abiding love for her ancestral home in Milton, New Jersey. She graduated with a BA in Education from William Paterson College in Paterson, NJ. She was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church of Dover and was a member of the Chamberlain Family Reunion and the Davenport Family Reunion. Virginia was predeceased by her husband Eldon Drymon. She is survived by her devoted children: Clinton Drymon, David Drymon, Mary DeRose and Clarissa Shipowick; a sister Rosalie B. Andrews, 12 beloved grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. Friends may call Friday, June 15, 2012 from 2-4, 7-9pm at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta, NJ 07871. A funeral service will be held at 12 noon Saturday at the Milton United Methodist Church, 316 Dover Milton Rd., Milton, NJ 07438.
