Richard worked in telecommunications for 49 years starting with Western Electric and finishing his career with Nokia. In his free time, Richard enjoyed gardening and was an avid reader. He was the “World's Best Grandpa and loved nothing more than spending time with his grandsons.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of 50 years,Patricia; his son, Michael; his daughters, Erika and Monica; his grandsons,Jameson and Jonathan; and his beloved dog, Luna. He is also survived by his brother Anthony with his wife, Diane; his brother Steve with his wife, Nora; and many nieces,nephews, cousins and friends. Richard was predeceased by his parents, John and Stefana Grega.
A visitation for Richard will be held Tuesday, October 22, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Sparta, NJ 078711904. A funeral prayer service will occur at 1:00 PM, with committal service immediately following at North Hardyston Cemetery, N Church Rd, Hamburg, NJ 07419.
