Richard James Bowden, 64, of Oak Ridge, NJ passed away September 5, 2020 at Morristown Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Miami, Florida; grew up in Missouri and moved to Oak Ridge, NJ in 1991. Richard worked as a mechanic for Glaxosmithkline in Clifton, NJ. Richard was an avid fisherman, hunter and outdoorsman. He is survived by his beloved wife Kathleen (Zimmermann) Bowden; devoted step father of Tori Martinez and her husband Robert; Father to Jennifer Monaco, Kevin Bowden and his wife Ashley. He is also survived by his loving grandchildren: Kira, Leo, Madison, and Abigail; brother George Bowden and wife Connie and four nephews and one niece. The family will hold private services under the direction of the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St, Sparta, NJ 07871. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to the American Heart Association
